My life has changed drastically within the past year. You see, I tended to overthink and worry about the future. I never realized how much my thinking was holding me back in my life. We all tend to become our own worst enemies. We replay adverse events in our minds over and over again. We hold onto grudges and never forgive those who hurt us. We become cold because we've been hurt too many times before, so we assume everyone is out to get us. Over the years, I slowly started becoming someone who felt unworthy of having healthy connections....
Taking Accountability
For so long, I have been looking for answers in all the wrong places. I began isolating myself from others back in May of 2021 to gain clarity on my life. During this time, I have had to overcome many challenging obstacles on my own. I have had to overcome challenges before, but this time was different because instead of running to friends seeking answers, I decided to find the answers within. Living Authentically
Today I woke up feeling pretty great! When I typically wake up, my mind immediately goes into everything I need to do for the day. Today was different because, over the past few weeks, I have been switching up my routine. I have been practicing self-love and mediation, which has placed me in a peaceful state of mind. I am not going to lie to you. It was not an easy process. I had to learn some truths about myself and dig deep. We get so consumed with everyday life that we never check in with our mental health....
